Some people believe Chris and Olivia are trying to keep their relationship going for the sake of their upcoming reality show
Chris has confirmed that the couple are still together and have decided to "commit" to each other... Despite having spent the holidays apart.
It's been a rocky few months for the Love Island couple especially after Chris was busted cosying up to another woman but he claims they're working through their troubles.
After the photos were realised she revealed: "Obviously last week I was taking some time out from my relationship with Chris to work out what was going on in my head.
"Basically I wanted to sort of take a minute to assess what had actually gone on, because it’s really hard when these things happen."
She added: "He said he didn’t kiss anyone so... I'm going to give him the benefit of the doubt. This is his last shot."
In response to them spending Christmas and New Year apart Chris said:
"We spent Christmas and New Year apart but that was mainly because out families are in all different places so we just went home to get a bit of space."
"We're working on everything now- fresh, New Year and everything. We're just working on it because we're both committed to each other"
Chris's relationship with Olivia may be in trouble, but his bromance with Love Island champ Kem Cetinay remains stronger than ever.
The duo will become the first ever hosts of the National Television Awards red carpet to be live streamed on Twitter.
And once they've got that out of the way, the duo are already aiming for their next hosting job- Love Island spin-off show Aftersun
Chris added: "If we ever had an opportunity to do something we would always be grateful for it and we'd never turn out noses up or anything so if that opportunity arises then yeah we'd always consider that."
"I'd never not do it but thats a long way away. I don't think anyone's talking about that at the moment"
In more recent news, Chris Hughes has started a ‘Twitter fight’ with Jake Quickenden after watching the skater grow close to his BFF on ITV’s Dancing on Ice.
And it’s got fans laughing – with others scratching their heads.
The Love Island star tweeted his distaste for the friendship while watching the show on Sunday night, saying: ‘Just blocked @JakeQuickenden’.
This came shortly after Holly Willoughby commented on Jake and Kem’s friendship asking ‘how their bromance is getting on’.
Although they are going head to head, the pair’s friendship seems to have blossomed since they started the skating competition, that debuted last week, and it looks like Chris is getting jealous.
Earlier tonight Jake was seen with his arm around Kem while the crew – made up of six of the 12 dancers – received feedback for their first group performance.
Obviously Jake had his eye on his Twitter mentions, as he took to the social networking site to admit he knows Kem belongs to Chris.
He replied to Chris saying: ‘Ahahahah you legend, I know he’s yours don’t worry’.
We all know Chris was joking, but who else thinks he could be getting a little bit jealous too!
