Snow Ice and Sub-Zero temperatures set to take hold by middle of next week.

Temperatures across the UK will plummet next week from Tuesday bringing with it heavy Snow, Ice and high Winds as the UK is to be hit.

Presently the UK is at normal temperatures for this time of the year but from Monday there will be a change in the wind direction, as the Met Office warned on Thursday. 

Tuesday will see temperatures drop to below freezing for many parts of the UK, however it's Wednesday that many people will see Snow which could last for days and going into the weekend.

A yellow warning has been issued for northern parts of the UK from Monday with forecasters predicting heavy hail and snow showers in parts of Scotland and Northern Ireland.
Weather experts warned that there is a small chance of power cuts and cancellations to public transport.

A Met Office spokeswoman told ‘There will be polar winds blowing in and it will be colder this week. ‘Over the next few days there will be active weather front coming in. There will be sleet and rain and temperatures will drop. ‘It will bring a spell of quite wet and windy weather through the whole of the UK.’
