22 year old Baber Iqbal who was living on Princeville Road in west yorkshire Bradford has been jailed for 15 months for attempting to break into a house with a hammer,while he attempted to break in to the house, there was 3 young girls all below the age of 16 in the house at the time,they were absolutely terrified as they watched,after baber had seen them,he continued to try his best to break into the home.
Baber Iqbal was not alone he also was with a white male who was assisting him carrying a drill ,The 3 sisters managed to escape from the house from the back door ,they ran to a near by relatives house,and told him of the shocking events they had witnessed.
The relative then went round the house of girls and saw damage had been done to the door. Baber Iqbal was a passenger in a stolen Renault Megane using false registration plates which was seen being driven suspiciously in Stafford Street, Nelson, at around 2pm on September 24.
Baber Iqbal who is serving a 28-month prison sentence for dangerous driving, pleaded guilty to attempted burglary and was Jailed for 15 months at Burnley Crown Court.
Judge Beverley Lunt said: “While this might have been an attempted burglary it was a very determined and violent attempt. There were three young people in the house who were terrified by what they saw was going on.”
Parents should never leave their kids alone in the house,it is not safe to do so,also remember to lock your house doors and to close your house windows before leaving the house.
