External Applications

Peel the rind off a lemon. Make the piece(s) as long and as wide as possible. Rub the pith (the white spongy part of the rind) on your forehead and temples. Then place the rind on the forehead and temples with the pith on the inside, securing it with a scarf or Ace bandage. Keep it until the headache goes away, usually within a half hour.


Dip a large white handkerchief in distilled white vinegar, wring it out, and tie it tightly around her forehead until the headache disappeared.
